The National Student Awards seek out the best Built Environment degree students, highlighting to industry the necessity to link with Universities early in the education process and also improve the students’ knowledge of the career options available to them.  Many secure work placements as a direct result of competing in the Awards, which often translate into permanent positions upon graduation.

Over the past 16 years over 1,400 students have been through the Awards programme, which explores their course work, challenges their wider industry knowledge and encourages them to hone and develop their interpersonal skills. 2022 has seen a talented and diverse group of contenders, with 113 students nominated by their lecturers, representing 52 Universities.  

The Awards process continued with the announcement of the fourteen regional winners in June, followed by our National 'Best of the Best' Dinner at Claridge's London, on 20 September 2022.  Congratulations to Architecture student, Tallulah Bannerman who has taken the top prize this year.  Tallulah studies at the University of Edinburgh and is about to start her fourth year. The 2023 Awards process is underway with the announcement of the regional winners in June, followed by our National 'Best of the Best' Dinner at Claridge's London, on Thursday 21 September 2023.
