Our aim at Willmott Dixon is to ensure that we embrace gender diversity and allow all of our people to develop a career of a lifetime based on fairness, inclusion and respect. Willmott Dixon has made a strong commitment to diversity as we believe that diverse, complementary teams are the most effective and make better business decisions. Therefore, it is our aim that by 2030 50% of our people in each grade will be women (from a January 2018 baseline of 24%). To do this we have set up a National Gender Diversity Steering Group, to look at how we can attract, retain, develop and promote the best women. As a result, we are promoting agile working in the business, rolling out a company-wide unconscious bias training programme and have recently launched a campaign to further promote respectful behaviour on our sites.
