Virtual events, topical podcasts and webinars to expand the mind
Friday April 3, 2020

As we all adjust to the ‘new normal’, we wanted to give you a little more detail of what we are working on for you, over the coming months. You will be aware that we have postponed our events for the time being and, where possible, we are rescheduling from September but we are keeping this situation under review.
We are also converting a number of events from ‘physical’ to ‘virtual,’ via webinars. A number of the speakers who were going to deliver presentations and workshops in situ, are now kindly adapting them so we are able to bring them to you in your own home. This is in addition to guest webinars. Similarly, we are recording podcasts, bringing together industry experts to give their views on a range of subjects. We will also be hosting blogs at https://www.womeninproperty.org.uk/blog/ – if you would like to submit a blog for consideration, we would love to hear from you.
All of this is very much work in progress as we develop the programme, so do keep an eye on the website Events pages for details. Here is a flavour of what’s coming:
Webinars:
Be seen: be heard: make an impact virtually
Financial Literacy
Sustainability: Wellbeing Performance for Asset Resilience and Closing the Resource Loop
Facilitating meetings virtually
Managing fear when speaking and communicating
Business Continuity
Modular Construction
Pandemic employment challenges in the city
Making the most of LinkedIn
How are charities being impacted by Coronavirus?
Podcasts:
Agile working – has the way we work changed forever?
How will Covid-19 affect the global impact on climate change?
The ‘win win’ of taking on graduates
WFH - Mental Health and Wellness
In addition, the Women in Property branches will be running bespoke webinars and virtual networking events specially for their own members and will be in touch with you directly about these.
Please remember to send your new contact details to membership@womeninproperty.org.uk if your personal circumstances change so that you continue to receive our emails and notifications of forthcoming events.
Meanwhile, if you would like to find out more about rescheduled events or refunds please see the advice I gave recently by clicking here. Finally, do remember that one of the many strengths of Women in Property is the access it provides members to a network of like-minded people. We would call on you to support each other, speak to your mentors, maximise social media contact and do pick up the phone to me on 01904 610077, Executive Director Fiona Alfred on 07836 233253 or National Vice Chairman Rachel Bell on 07817 318407 or contact your branch Chairman whose details you will find at https://www.womeninproperty.org.uk/branches/
Thank you
Monica Green, National Chairman
